In order to compete with other search engines, they have introduced their users to the AskEraser which supposedly deletes your search activity from Ask.com (not third-party) servers. I have not tried the feature myself yet but that is not why I found it worthwhile to talk about today.

I have looked at their SERP (Search Engine Result Page), made some comparisons to Google’s SERP
and found out they actually have some pretty cool features better than Google even if the quality of results given is quite poor in comparison and very slow to load.

- I just love their customizable background or like they call it skins on the homepage

- the layout is so simple but elegant that it is easy to read and navigate and shockingly enjoyable.

- And the result on their SERP page is well organized and clearly categorized

- but I also think the way their have positioned their sponsored links need to be improved; is very easy to mistake their sponsored search results with their organic/natural results.

All in all, I highly recommend trying Ask.com when searching the web maybe even once a week; which is what i do at the moment… ^^/
